Our delivery policy
We use Royal Mail recorded delivery. We deliver to UK Mainland only. Other areas must contact us for a quote. Royal Mail service will be 1st Class service & requires a signature upon delivery.
Delivery Time Scale
Royal Mail – up to 1-2 Days depending on UK location (Highlands, Islands, N. Ireland and Ireland may take up to 2 days)
We will always communicate with the customer, to inform about an estimated delivery date.
We accept payment via all major credit cards, all goods require payment in full prior to dispatch.
Warranty and Return Policy
12 months warranty on new supplied items or 2 months warranty on repaired/refurbished items,
we know that you will be pleased with your purchases from Automotive Electronics. However, there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.
Items Damaged in Transit
If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 1 working day . If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, it’s best to sign the delivery note accordingly. If you should need to return an item it should be returned in the original packaging complete with all documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we’ll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method, postage costs is the responsibility of the purchaser both ways.
Items Faulty on Arrival
If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 7 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation including the original VAT invoice not a copy. Once we have verified the fault, we’ll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse you reasonable return carriage costs. We test returned items and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our staff we will charge you £35.00 +VAT, return the item to you and you will be liable for the return carriage. This statement also applies to any codes that we generate.
Items Faulty in Warranty Period
If any of your purchases develop a fault, and it’s more than 28 calendar days since receipt, then provided your item is within its warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair. In some cases, we provide a specialist full on-site service and/or telephone help facility for your convenience which we recommend you use in order to correct the fault quickly. For business customers all warranty repairs after 28 days of receipt are carried out directly by Automotive Electronics (unless otherwise stated)
Return of non faulty goods
If you decide to return your purchased item, you have 7 calendar days in which to inform us and return the item. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation including the original VAT invoice not a copy. Postage is the responsibility of the purchaser both ways. This statement also applies to any codes that we generate.
Trade inquiries are welcome, we will require proof of your trade status to qualify for trade prices. If you purchase one item you will be classed as a retail customer, multiple items you will be classed as a trade customer.

Due to the ever changing market and our constant efforts to ensure our prices are competitive we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the prices upon this website, if the value of your order is higher or lower than stated we will call you before proceeding with your purchase. We reserve the right not to supply items for sale herein due to incorrect pricing within this website.
